The Lake & Stars kollektionsbilder blir bara flummigare och knäppare för varje år som går, men tack gode gud för det! Önskar att alla underklädesdesigner vågade vara lika modiga och gå emot strömmen av bilder på sexobjektifierade tjejer där man tveksamt ställer sig frågan om bilden egentligen är riktad till heterosexuella män snarare än kvinnor. Underkläder är lika mycket mode som vilket annat plagg som helst och behöver inte alltid jämt och ständigt kopplas ihop med sex. Dessutom är The Lake & Stars underkläder fantastiskt fina, moderna och precis lika genomtänkta som bilderna. Det finns inget som gör mig så arg som Victoria’s Secret som sprutar ut bilder och events där man direkt märker att det inte har något med underkläderna att göra, bara ett svepskäl för att sälja ett osmickrande ideal.

I wish all lingerie designers dared to be that brave and go against the flow of images on sex objectified girls which arises the question whether the image is actually directed at heterosexual men rather than women. Underwear is as much fashion as any other garment and do not always constantly has to be connected with sex. In addition, The Lake & Stars underwear is fabulous, modern and just as elaborate as the pictures. There is nothing that makes me as angry as when Victoria’s Secret spout out images and events which you immediately notice has nothing to do with underwear, just an excuse to sell an unflattering ideal.
